How do I cook scallops?

Scallops should only need to be flipped once like most proteins. On the stove bring your pan to medium-high heat with enough oil to lightly coat the pan. Once your pan is hot add the scallops and let them cook for just a minute until one side is evenly seared, then flip. Once the scallop is opaque it is done cooking.
