What are the advantages of buying bone-in chicken versus boneless?

Bone-in chicken adds a significant amount of flavor to the meat and is our favorite.  If time is a factor, boneless chicken might be your best choice.  A good rule of thumb is…. If you are cooking with best taste in mind, cook with the bone in. If you are cooking with the clock in mind, buy a boneless breast. (Hint: you can flavor the boneless breast with a little olive oil and chicken rub, anyway)
